Mike,

Very well done tribute.

I'll put 115 on myself. If need be.

Hit the site up for the second time, I see him name everyday when I go to work. The USASOC Building has a plaque to our fallen SOF guys outside the building. I pass it everyday coming from the parking lot. Allot of really good dudes I've known over the years on the wall of honor. If you've never seen it I'll post a pic, they dedicated it about a year ago for OEF/OIF.

In my summer 07 issue of "The Drop", there is on front cover a memorial board fr 3rd SF with his picture on it.

Thanks everyone

I took some pics of the memorial today, I'm still at work... I'll post them when I get home... :D

OEF/OIF Memorial

Alright, I promised pix so here they are... that being said I have the ultimate respect for the Men who's names appear on the wall behind me (Yes, I'm the fat a$$ in the pic) I'm doing the staff thing at USASOC for now, hopefully I'll get back in the fight in the near future. I met Tony years back when I was in SWCS, he was very respected in the community, and well liked by all the 18B's who had the honor of having him as an instructor.... :D Incidentally the guy who's name appears on the bottom of the pic Michael Dickinson was someone I worked with in Ramadi. He was fallen by a sniper on 17 July 2006, I was coincidentally hit in the face by the bullet after it passed thorough him. The muzzle velocity of the bullet was slowed enough that it lodged in my neck between my spine and the base of my skull. I'm fine still on active duty and jump status. Mike was an outstanding NCO and a true professional... I'm not trying to hijack your thread, I'd just like to inform the masses as to what the mainstream media outlet do not cover....

cool , thanks brother

Family always called him Andy I remember back at his open house from HS we were talking about what we were gonna do cause of same age, I was joining the Army and he was joining the Airforce because of the hightech options that it offered, after he got sick of sitting at a desk for a couple of years he joined the Army:biggrin:

Small world indeed

Mike

Thanks for the pic's
A lot of us were in the service and I can't speak for everyone. and I'm not trying to. Are just happy to see your pic Standing next to the wall. You have done your time
in the fight. Hope you understand.

I definitely understand, honestly even though I paid a price for my last visit in the Middle East I feel like a tird sitting at a desk while we have our brothers over there taking care of business. I feel great, further more the longer I spend in a staff position the less I enjoy being in the Military. Allot of big time O-5/O-6/ and higher politico agenda, I love being an NCO because you don't feel disconnected from the guy's who really make the gears turn.... :D
