Irwindale Speedway To Close In December Of 2024

The state of California is set to lose another drag strip. Irwindale Speedway is rumored to be closing in December of 2024.

I know it has been on the chopping block multiple times but it may not make it this time. Barona is probably going to be the closest drag strip for the LA area.

Alot of great memories were made at Irwindale. Sucks to see it go. This time, unfortunately, it might not make it to the new year. I guess its time to venture off and tryout out other tracks in SoCal.

I hope they can pull a last minute Christmas miracle and keep it open for a few more years.

It's legal and you can get some GREAT footage for the memories before she's closed.

Once she is closed I fear it's Pomona once in a blue moon or Bakersfield probably once....
