OK guys, been chasing a skip in this car that's 100% stock. Turned out to be a bad injector. I had a spare set of Blue Tops and a Red Armstrong RA93 chip I put in today and now the car runs great, but noticed the BLM's are in the mid to high 90's while cruising. The o2 voltage was 950mv (using an OTC4000e) @ WOT.

I also put an adjustable FP regulator on it when I did the injectors, FP is 43# line off.

The fuel pump was recently replaced with a stocker, which I recommended they need to change to a Walbro or something comparable. I noticed @ WOT the FP on the gauge started to drop. The car has the stock NON adjustable actuator on it and NO boost gauge, so I have no clue where boost is.

Any ideas?

is the chip matched to the injectors?

Get a boost gauge before you break something.

Same goes for a good fuel pump and a hotwire kit. (and perhaps a fuel filter)

Yes, I told the guy that owns the car we need to put a boost gauge, hot wire kit, good pump, fuel filter and scan master in it before we go any farther.

And Yes, the chip is for the injectors...just removed them from another car that upgraded.

Keep in mind that because of internal references, what you see on the OTC 4000, a good rule of thumb is to subtract 100mv from the reading you're seeing. So your 950 would be 850 on all other scan tools.

Yes Dave, I used to shoot for 870 on the OTC before I moved to PL. Told the owner he needs a scanmaster for sure.

I may put my computer with the power logger in it to get it tuned.
