I need brakes...they're starting to squeek...

I need some brakes that don't produce much brake dust...I have BENDIX on my n/a regal, and while they're probably the best brakes that car has seen...but the dust they create in just a few day's is ridiculous:eek:

So...what brakes have you guy's been successful with?!?

Thanks for the reply's...

John

(I have GTA rims, and you guy's know how much of a pain the the a$$ it can be to clean them...thanks...)

Brake Pads with No Dust

John I did not want brake dust on my 96 Impala SS 17in wheels either. I put on Performance
Friction Pads. No squeal and no dust on my wheels. They are twice as much as cheap pads but are well worth it. I will use them on my 86 T-Type in the next month or so. I got mine thru my local Autozone store.

Thanks turbod6...

When it comes to my GN...I don't mind spending the "extra lil bit"...

Anyone else used some different pads...?

Raybestos quite stops. Ceramic, low residue and no squeaks.

I picked up a set of NAPA's Ceramix brake pads a few weeks ago when my semi-metallic pads squealing finally got to me. I was going to post about these today when I saw this post so I am jumping in here. Just got back from a track rental and made 7 passes plus drove 2 hours to the track and 2 hours back and lo and behold all I had was some normal road dust on my Weld Wheels, NO brake dust at all, no squealing and these things stop great! I paid $70 for the pair, well worth it.

Thanks Guy's...;)

Mark...I had good luck w/ your cold-air induc....so I think I'm gonna try the Napa pads...that $70 is for 4 pads right...(just the front disc brakes...right?!?)

Thanks fellas,

John;)
