Therein lies the problem.Everyone who assumed that the other guys weren't coming killed the turnout.
It's funny that guys carped about it being a BOP event and not T-Regal only.

I remember being at B/G this year and the number of cars in the staging lanes was huge from what I could see.
I wonder how that affected the number of runs that guys got in?
At Bristol you'll definitely get more runs if you come out.
As far as racing non G/N's,who cares?
If you race and you're fast,what's it matter who or what is in the next lane?
I saw 8&9 second cars in the quick class lined against slower cars and the results weren't what you might have thought.
The point I'm making is that you can't always run against your own kind everytime you race.
That's life.
However,the more T/R's that show up,the more likely the odds of you racing another T/R instead of a carbed Pontiac.
BTW,so of those guys were hauling a$$.
