I replaced the front springs on my 87 GN and the stock tires/rims rub. I want to put 16X8 Kirban wheels on the front to match the back. What is the smallest tire height/width that I can go with? I'm thinking 205/60/16. I believe the stock tire is 215/65/15. Thanks.

205/60/16 doesnt sound right on a 16x8 rim. that might be a little tight for the tire. did you mean to lower the car? if not have them send you another pair of springs.

Yes, I meant to lower it. I like the look, with gnx flares, but I don't like the tire rubbing.

I used to run 245/45r16's. A little shorter than 245/50's. Helped with some of my rubbing issues.;)
