LS in place of V-8 ??

Replacing a V-8 in an 86 Regal with factory air with an LS --can I retain the factory AC-heat box. Sorry if this has been covered--been off the board a while. Thanks --Lee

Sure can, Lee. There are some threads here, that can give you some ideas.
A visit to LS1tech, and their G body forum, is also a good location to see some installs.
There are some brkts made to use the OEM, low mt location for the compressor. The SD7 size works well.
A couple top mt versions are also available.
Most versions are accessory brkt "sensitive". IE: truck brkt, Camaro, Vette, all put the acc in a different location.
