Have a complete setup of LS1 12" Brakes on stock spindles. The only thing you would have to do is remove your stock spindles with brakes and install the setup, you will utilize your stock upper and lower A arms, the setup utilizes same parts as the 99 to 2002 Camaros. If you have any questions or want pictures, please e-mail me. Will not fit stock GN wheels, 16" wheels are recommended. Kit comes with new aluminum dual pistons callipers, new rotors, new brake pads and all mounted on freshly painted stock spindles . $700.00 OBO

Thanks
Ralph

A pure bolt-on, this is the set-up I'm running, and I couldn't be happier!.

So, LS1 powered F Body spindles bolt right up to stock Regal control arms with stock ball joints and outer tie rod ends?

How much does it change the suspension geometry and where are the wheels situated in comparison with the stock brake setup? (Do they stick out more or are they tucked in more?)

Possibly interested.

Thanks,

Mike

They use the stock spindles, so all the geometry is the same as stock.

They move the wheels out, like 1/4". Whatever the flange thickness is on the new rotors.

The hub is a stock GBody brake rotor with the disc brake rotor taken off.

The *tricks* are the hub, adapter bracket, and drilling/tapping some holes on the old spindle.

www.ibild.com sells the brackets for the LS1 calipers and rotors to a G body spindles as well as brackets to mount C5 Vette calipers and rotors. The LS1's are 12" and the C5's are 13's.

FWIW, they're flame cut. Since I bought mine all assembled from 6Shot, I haven't tried assembling them, so I don't know how well they actually fit.

The C5 stuff really adds up $$ wise, and I can't see where they'd be that much better, but, that opinion may change.

The LS1 stuff is awesome.

I'm amazed, that there aren't signs of more being sold.

Using them and the rear 02 setup, I've done a 80->0 in 173'. If you look in any Road and Track magazine, and compare braking numbers at 80, my GN stops will all but the most expensive of cars, and when I get some new front tires, that are slightly larger, I'm hoping to get into the low 160s/ high 150s, and there's just a few cars doing those numbers.
