LS1 MAF sensor

Ok, I'm going to order a chip from Eric, but this car is still running the factory MAF. I see the LS1 MAF is recommended, as is the Impala MAF. Do you guys have a preferred place to get these sensors, I have checked the auto parts stores, and all they can get me is a reman unit, which I don't want. I found a translator for around $175 as well. Is that decent? THanks for the direction.

FULL THROTTLE SPEED - MAF Translator, Scanmaster, Turbocharger, Fuel Injection, and more! seems like the place to go. I have ordered a few things from them and have been very happy with their service. Although I didn't order it, I believe that's where my maf and translator came from.

Thanks guys. I emailed Eric a couple of days ago, just havent recieved a reply yet. Persistance, persistance. If I read the posts correctly, I can use the Impala MAF because it has the same OD as stock.

You are correct, 3" LT1 will bolt right in place, the 3.5 LS1 maf you will need a hose adapter for it to fit. other than that it's your preference.

Dont forget you need the Adapter Plug as the plugs are different that ours.

Ok, Eric emailed me to say that he doesn't sell the MAF or translator, so it looks like Full Throttle Speed will be selling me the remainder of the parts.
