The next Lone Star Performance Buick Club racing series event will be Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Redline Raceway. Come on and hang out or race with us if you can make it. The gates open at 6:00pm as the afternoon cooling begins so the heat should not be too bad.

Hey! That would be excellent! I would like to talk to you in person about your ideas that you mentioned in another thread as well.

Which ones? You talking about the rear? If you are then check out my "Finally got some time" thread in the B4Black section to see what I'm talking about.

It will be at least a 2 hour drive one way but I'm gonna really try to do it this time. You guys ever think about going to Kennedale? I know it's an 1/8th mile but it would be fun for a Saturday night.

Years ago when we started the 2nd Saturday racing events, Redline was the only track that would offer to work with us to give us our own class.

We do go to Kennedale on occasion when the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge races there. Kennedale usually has their own points program to run on Saturday nights. They would not likely have room for us. Besides, Redline has a much more family friendly crowd in attendance and they have treated our club well over the years.

Just wish there was a track a little closer Carl. 2 hours on the road one way means that I have to leave early both ways.:frown: If it was an hour away for all it would be much easier. Some of the Waco crowd would even attend then.

We will be getting together to race in the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge on Sunday, September 19th at Texas Raceway in Kennedale. That should give everyone down in your neck of the woods some time to get ready and join us for some fun. It is a day race that usually begins around 9:00am and is over around 4:00pm that afternoon. Not bad for a day trip. That would also be a good warm up for the Noble event.

That sounds good Carl. I may even have the car ready so I can do a little testing then. Thanks.

I won't be able to make it Carl. I went to Waco Thursday and it was slipping so bad I didn't think she'd make it home. I'll see i I can round up another ride but at this point it aint happening.

No worries - It is not looking good weather wise anyway. :(

Thanks for the call Carl. Did a little more on the car instead but I'm sorry we couldn't meet this time. Did you get my email about the header design?
