lug nut sources

Seems a the driver's side front wheel was put on with about 400lbft of torque. Needless to say a few of the lugnuts are now trashed.

Are these a dealer only item or are they available aftermarket?

Are they the ones for the 16 inch gnx look a like wheels with threads on the outside for the black plastic caps. If so i got mine at the junk yard from various pontiacs.

GM still carries them, as well as the plastic caps that screw on them. The wheel lock kit is also still avalible.

How many is a few Dan? Mine are pretty beat, I could use some.

I prefer McGard lugnuts over the crappy stock ones with the flimsy plastic caps.

SLP sells them. 20 plus 20 covers. I think I paid about $20 for the set about 6 months ago.
