The 28 14.5-16 is a specialty tire that was developed for the Gen 2 Lightning racers.....the 26 11.5s didn't offer enough patch or tire height for a steeply geared truck.

I use them on my trucks...but man they are a really BIG tire on a rim....and don't think about anything other than a 10" rim for them. We did run a set on a Viper once too...tire grew too much for the wheel well..
