julio do i need a hotwire kit for the maf since i am running your alky kit? havent got the motor in but was wondering if i need it and how much. i got the 3.5 LS1 and maf translator

youll need to watch a WOT run log to determine if it needs one , so far with the newer kits i havent seen any issues,

I havnt had it to the track and I always had alky just an older kit. As of the seat of the pants dyno I dunno. I havnt turned it up or tuned anything. Still about 21 psi. The weather sucks here. The kit of course is awesome as in the hookup and look of being part of the car. I bought it to never buy race gas again as when I had the older SMC kit I just thought race gas w a little alky was a better idea. Now I will always be set on killl. As for the WOT log I hadnt heard what to look for on that just was told by Julio if it didnt stutter thten I was set to go. Maybe he will chime in and set us all strait. lol...

Realisticly I think the alky shoud have the hot wire kit. Either way it will work.
One thing is for sure, you will know if you need it. As soon as that pump comes on the car will fall on its face and stumble.

Otherwise your going to love it.

I have a 55 gallon drum in the garage. ;)

thanks!!! how do you like you kit does it seem faster than race gas?

I ran an 11.87 with C16 on a cool day. Later, I ran an 11.92 with 91 octane and methanol on a VERY HOT day, with some more tuning, it should be even faster.
