Anybody installed a maf translator on a hot air car with a ls1 maf? please let me know if it worked and what to look for.

Translator

I installed the translator and LS1 MAF on my 85, with the 85 ECM. It worked fine. Then I installed the 86/87 ECM. The best way is to go with the 86/87 ECM. I could not find the ECM in the local salvage yards. I had to get one from NAPA. I had a chip burned by Turbo Tweak, to work without the MAT sensor. My car runs rich at idle. Other than that it runs better than it did with the 85 ECM.
