Mailing crank from MI

I've got a turbo crank sitting in Detroit MI at a friends house . USPS wants $99.25 to mail it ground (3-4 weeks) to Toronto . $99.25 to ship a crank is insane .any other cheaper alternatives for shipping out to Canada from MI way ? I would think UPS and Fedex are even more $$$ . thanks .

I would still check UPS pricing on thier website like www.upsstore.com. You can even issue a call tag and have them come pick it up. They have been pretty accurate when the package is properly weighed. If I knew your zip code I would give it try but take a look and see.

thanks guys . it's on it's way . I had him ship it "USPS Economy Surface" it worked out to about $35 US . a little better than $99.25 US . anything else I'm just going to stock pile in Detroit and make a trip down early spring . I'm also heading down to Florida .everything is already booked in August for a month, so I can pick anything up on the way back .if you guys need anything let me know by the end of July . thanks again !
