For those of you who live in the south...you guys don't get to experience really cold temps when it is night time...last weekend the air temps outside at night were in the low 30's...it's about 45 degrees tonight...but it is a MAJOR difference in power from 75 degrees earlier in the day...it's supposed to get down to about 40 tonight...my tires have NO chance of grabbing even at 60 mph when I nail it...25 psi on 93 and alcohol is something special lemme tell you...I'm not even done turning the boost...I might still be able to hit 30 psi eventually if I keep getting no knock...

just thought I would share my experience...I'm driving this thing as much as possible until the snow flies next month and they salt the roads:(

Don-3d, I know first hand what your talking about, I live in southern mich. about 25 miles north of the Ind, ohio border, I drove the car the other night , it was about 40 degrees, Holy crap. like to burned the tires off when it shifted into 2nd, what a rush ! I took my friend for a ride for the first time, it took him a minute for the butterflys to settle down before he said anything,
I thought for a minute he was going to barf in my car, Let's hope the snow and salt hold off for a while, Happy boosting.

i used to love the cold weather and driving the buick in it. last winter i had my car out on the highway in 20 degree weather and at 65 mph i jumped on it and next thing i know im looking at the divider:eek: not cool.:D

It's been great the past few nights. So great that I was out yesterday and stopped for ice cream with my son. Walking back to the car I noticed the belts were showing through on my Hoosiers. Ooops! Too much "testing" the rebuilt posi out.

Noticed the same effect on my bike last night. I have an '03 Suzuki SV1000 (about 110 rwhp), and I noticed the front wheel floating above the ground alot easier than normal. Sometimes I feel like it isn't quick enough, others it seems a bit ridiculous, lol. Last night was one of those times :D
Gotta love hitting 100 in about 7 flat with the front tire barely skimming the road  . Only good thing about the cooler weather, IMO

my sons stocker went 12.42 at the track last week.it has got blue tops in it now other than that all stock.the temp was in the hgh 40s and 24% relitive humidity. All the cars were rockin.

thats OK, because you'll be packing your car up next week......i'll be drag racing through mid november:D
