Man, the misery of not getting that shield flicked down in time set me back a week 2 summers ago, as i stumbled around like ray charles in screaming pain...flash burn really sux.

But yesterday i was in garage with die grinder without my good safety goggles...I had on safety glasses with side shields but a nice spark flew up, bounced off my noodle, onto lens, pinballed around then conveniently landed in my eyeball.

and its been scratching me ever since...dont ask me why im sitting here typing with one eye let alone even on line.

Make sure goggles are on....... always

Been there.

I did that die grinding. I was wearing safety glasses and a face shield. The metal sliver stuck straight into my eye so could feel it every time I blinked.

Not fun having an eye surgeon take a microscopic die grinder to my eyeball to dig the metal out. He kept getting mad because I would flinch every time that thing touched my eye. Who wouldn't?

Yeah I get lazy with the safety glasses sometimes at work but try to remind myself that it's not worth saving 3 seconds.

yeah...me too, the sparks coming out of your eyeball are about the coolest thing you'll see...too bad i had scarring from it....

doesnt it seem to never fail when you just craw under the car for a quick sec and some chunk of crap always lands just near your eyeball...like its telling ..no smacking you like the V8 commercial

eye feels a little better today although kinda cloudy at first
