Manual internal wastegate?

I have installed a Caspers harness on my hybrid s10. The harness does not include the plug for the original boost control solenoid as they recommend putting an external wastegate. My question is can I leave the factory wastegate actuator and hook it up with a manual boost valve? I am leaving the factory turbo on it and don't want to have to spend the money if I don't need to right now. I saw a diagram on turbosmart on something like this just wanted to here it from someone who has done this before. Thanks for any help

Boots controller from RJC is nice and simple. It's only like $60 I think.

Yeah, it goes from the compressor housing through the boost controller to the acuator, no stock solonid needed
