S10

I have a s10 box i bought for my car before directionchanged, where are you located? Mike

A manual box from a late 1980's to early 1990's S-10 pickup is replacement that will just bolt in place of the stock GN PS box.

Be aware, this is NOT a quick ratio like was stock on the GN's.

A while back there was a new S-10 box on e-bay for ~$400.

Used ones run about $100.

I believe Flaming River makes a 16:1 manual box. The S-10 box is 24:1. Just my opinion, but the S-10 box is probably the single worst mod I've done to my car. I absolutely hate it. I have a TRZ rack and pinion kit on the shelf that I haven't installed yet, but it gets mixed reviews as well.

manual box

oh was there any reason u didnt like the manual box or was it just personal preference?

I went Manual years ago, and went back to PS. it was just a PITA to steer. For the amount of power loss was not worth the headaches...

I bought a manual Flaming River quick-ratio box for my Superbee.....it was a little expensive but it works Great and the Ratio is perfect, I was in ur boat too w/ the price being high but in hindsight....glad I did it.
