Manual steering questions

Has anyone made the switch to manual steering that doesnt require using two hands to turn the steering wheel? I drove a GN with a conversion and it was really tough to turn the car even with skinny tires on it?

i just swapped my ps out for the manual box from an 88 s10.....it turns really easy with one hand if desired...the only difference is it takes a few extra spins of the wheel to make the usual sharp turn.....from bump stop to bump stop is a few turns more from your reg ps system....but it's not tough to steer at all.....good luck..
