Hello All,

My name is Tom. This is my first post, so excuse any newby mistakes. I am looking for information on the +5 volts for the MAP. I have no +5 volts at MAP. I have continuity for both the gray and black wires at both sides of the connector behind the glove box. Where does the gray connect at the next point? Does it originate at the ECM?
Thank you fro any information, tom

MAP Sensor No 1.6V on Green Wire

I now have +5 volts on gray wire and a good ground. I have no 1.6 volts.

Any suggestions, Thanks

If you have that voltage with the key on engine off on your reference wire you should be fine now.

Sensor needs to be plugged in for voltage measurement on green wire. If sensor is unplugged.. you will get ZERO on green wire.

If sensor is plugged in, you have 5 volts on Gray, and zero on green... then either green wire is being shorted out or you have a bad 3 bar sensor. To test for short, cut the green wire a few inches away from MAP sensor and confirm voltage coming from MAP with Ignition switched ON.
