do u need or can un plug it? does the stock boost gauge need to be plug in to the map or cap it off if i have a vdo after market gauge?

You can unplug it if your not going to use the stock gauge. It only runs the stock boost gauge.

why would the stock gauge be pin @ 15 psi?

could be that the MAP sensor went bad.

i had a spare same thing would that give you false knock? how much boost should i run? thanks for the help

it could be bad wirring if you had a spare and the same thing happens. The Map sensor wont cause false knock. as far as how much boost to run start with 12-14 and work your way up from there. You really need a scan tool so you can start turning the boost up.

i have a scanmster 2.1 what should i be looking for? the os are in the 850 rang with 15 pounds of boost
when i give it a little gas may be a 1/4 it some times in the 20 range for knock then some times its 0

wow you really need to find out if that is false or not. if you drive down the road at 50 in 3rd gear and roll into it to WOT does it knock? if not you need to find where the false knock is coming from. as far as the 850 02 thats is way rich but its hard to tell how rich since you dont have a WB.

would the tranny line cause it when i was driving i heard a rattle and move the lines it semd to be better then it came back
