MAP Sensor

Question

My car isn't starting.

So what I'm wondering is, is it possible that the MAP sensor could be the culprit?

I haven't been able to locate what the heck it is that's not letting it start. But I've got fuel, I've got air, I've spark. So what the heck could it be? My ECM has aftermarket chips, so could it be the ECM? Or is it the MAP sensor that could be messed up? My wiring inside my motor was done sorta sloppy. The guy who did it wasn't very careful to make sure he did it all as well as he could have. So what I'm wondering is if it is possible that if the MAP sensor was touching occasionally when I started the car, and now that it isn't, couldn't it be that if I just fixed that, it could work?

I'm starting to get on the end of my rope now guys. It's like, the car has run before, and has been sorta choppy. (o2 sensor likely) But it's really ticking me off now that a small problem could be causing it to sit around and do NOTHING for the moment. *Sigh*

So who has idea's? Throw them at me. I'm open to just about everything right now. And also, I have already opened up my spark plugs, checked em, cleaned em off, and no difference. C'mon guys, I need help, and I need it soon. I want this car on the road before June...

for some reason or another, the designers of the electronic controls for the turbo Buick engines decided that they didn't need to use the MAP sensor for anything more important than makning the boost gauge work.
the MAP has nothing to do with the operation of the engine.

That is correct Novaderrick. The real problem is most likely a bad or misadjusted CAM sensor based on his PM. Lets help him out. If I can figure how to FWD his PM I will do it tomorrow. Thanks Brad
