This is a good turbo that i bought new and installed in June of 2004 it has 20,307 miles on it and has always been run with a PTE turbosaver oil filter system. There is no in and out play in the shaft and very slight side to side play in the shaft. It does not smoke or make any noise or have any leaks. It has a polished A/R .70 compressor housing and a Precision A/R .63 exhaust housing "P" trim 3 bolt mounting for the GN header turbo mounting flange, the wastegate hole has been milled out to 1 1/8" i used it with an external wastegate. There are some scratches on the outside of the compressor housing from me using a screwdriver to break the seal on the hoses to remove them, "i didn't have any leaks or hoses blowing off".

Here are some comparison specs for this turbo and a GT 6776 turbo

comp wheel
MP T70 inducer 69.11mm / GT 6776 inducer 67mm
exducer 91mm / exducer 84mm

exhaust wheel
MP T70 inducer 78mm / GT 6776 inducer 74mm
exducer 64.5mm / exducer 64.5mm

I'm asking $350.00 shipped for the turbo

Thanks,John

Can you post pics please, and is it possible to use this turbo with an internal wastegate? If so what would one need to do to convert?

Hi,
Sorry i don't have a camera for pictures.

If the puck is big enough on the internal wastegate to cover the hole then it would work, you would need to measure the puck on your downpipe or housing.

There is nothing that needs to be done to convert the turbo to use on a turbo regal but you will need a maf pipe hose to fit the 4" turbo inlet, i was using it on mine. The only reason i took it off was i got a great deal on a Precision GT 6776 and being a little smaller a faster spool up for my car on the street with a tighter converter.

The torque converter i used with the T70 was a 3500 stall and there wasn't any lag in spool up.

Thanks for inquiring.

Hi,

What amount of converter stall does this turbo need?Interested,
please let me know.
Thanks,
John

Hi,
I was using a 3500 stall converter and the spool up was great on the street.

This was with a 3.8 with GN1 heads,72 lb injectors also.

Thanks for inquiring

I will sell the turbo only without the P-trim exhaust housing for $275.00 shipped.
