I have just ordered a ME and I have the Translater and a 3.5" MAF sensor coming. What switchs do I have the change on the Translater. BTW I do NOT have the Translater plus. Thanks alot :)
 
I have the same setup as you describe. first make sure to remove the screens on the ls1 sensor. it will run horribly rich with it in place. set up the dipsticks as in the instructions. Steve Y told me to try it on 2% lean for the idle. you'll love this setup trust me. you may have to take some numbers out the offset or it may be rich. i'll look at my translator later this weekend to see where everything is set. i havnt changed it in a long time so i may have forgot.
 
The chip in the ME needs to be sent to Steve to be calibrated specifically for the MAF and Translator unless you told him that it was going to be for that setup.

I had a ME burned for with & without alcohol. The only setup other than suggested in the instructions, was timing for no alky & increase timing for alky.
 
Yes, Steve knows that I am using the mass air translator. I just need to know where to set the switchs in the translator. Thanks
 
I didn't touch the LS1 screens and if anything it's running a tad lean.

Steve didn't say to remove them either.

Chip was burned for the combo. Hmmmm.
 
Steve told me to remove the screens as well. I just got the car running this afternoon and it idles great and drives well. No WOT runs yet.
 
I just found out via email I wuz an earlybird with the setup.

Pre-screened so to speak. ;)

I'll leave them, the richer the better right now. :)
 
Dipswitch 3 should be in the "on" position. It may come in the "off" position for use with an Extender chip.
