May need new engine/block

Overheated engine last week. At best, both head gaskets shot. At worst, cracked block. Don't know yet. But I'm assuming the worst.

What are my options? I know TA Performance has AL block for $4k. Anybody still making iron blocks? If not, I guess a FE engine will have to be used/rebuilt.

Depending what your final goals are, the TA block may be the most reasonable, if high horsepower is the ultimate goal. Otherwise there are numerous 109 blocks for sale on the board regularly.

My buddy has has a new factory turbo short block that he purchased years ago - never used still in crate
can put you in touch with him if you need one.
