I'm working on installing the above and the stock passenger bracket doesn't fit since the new intercooler hangs lower. Is it supposed to come with a bracket or do people cut the stock one?

Thanks,
Eric

Mine did'nt line up either so i just took it off.
You probbably could measure the distance & have something fabricated.
Hey why didnt i think of that when i put mine on!......

When I installed my stretched intercooler I cut my bracket with a cutoff wheel with my die grinder........no problem..

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess it's normal and I'll start cutting. Clark... I'm surprised you run without it. It would scare me that it would move into the fan or something.

Clock turbo and or fabricate bracket. Under high boost nothing like hose coming loose from interc weight. Ask me how i know?

Come to think of it it did the first time i almost forgot!!!! i drove it back home & put me some braces in front of the front sway bar to hold it in place fine every since then , oh yes be sure to check movement whatever you decide to do i didnt the first time i knew it was kinda loose but didnt think about the wind putting force on the intercooler at the bottom,,, sorry i almost forgot about that little incident at least you were thinking, i wasnt.... at the time.:D
I didnt cut anything i just took the bolts out of the brace on the frame & took it off.
