That's something else I'm gonna fix on the Camaro while I'm working on the rear axle. I put these CE Traction bars on there a couple years back and picked up a vibration. The problem is the bar snubbers can't be trimmed short enough to create the needed gap that should be between the snubber and the leaf spring eye, so I feel all the road vibration translating right up into the car. It's most apparent at speeds over 60mph and beyond that it's there regarless of speed.
The bars really didn't do anything for improving the traction anyway....and they look Joe Dirt and hang too freakin' low...

I wanna kill it!!!

Careful, Flaco...it's currently set-up for protouring and is traction impared at launch through 3rd gear, but with very little work on the rear suspension, some slicks and skinnies, removal of the front sway bar, and some good drag racing shocks....it's a strong 10 second ride...
Been proven by a few of the boys on Camaros.net who have the same drive train set up for drag racing...

Loose the 70's slapper bars and get a set of Caltracs. Should make it launch straight and keep you off the curbs. I guess you could say that they'll keep the Chicken from crossing the road.:p

When I bought the slappers, I was pretty close to springing for a DSE Quadra Link rear set up with minitubs....but....I spent the money on buying my first 87 Grand National instead...
3.5 years later.... still don't regret the decision...;)

See now that's cool, you have a positive attitude even though you have a slow car..:D

Yup... but I don't need it to beat you... maybe a turbo honda... but not you:cool:

Ya know...I'm not opposed to throwing a 200 shot of push a button eat a banana HP onto the Camaro just to come take your doors away from you...
