Best thing to do is contact your local congressional reps, raise hell, and threaten to run them out of office.

All you need to do is tell them how much they'll be loosing in taxes and they'll do a 180.

If it's not, a good ol' boycott should be in the works. Gun vendors just did this in PA after a similar "falling out". Unfavorable laws forced the NRA to withdraw. Cabela's went next and then all the small fry followed suit and the entire show was cancelled, costing Harrisburg millions in lost revenue.

It's not about tax, they want Mecum in the title chain as if they actually were the owner. And yes that is not only dumb but erroneous. Auctions don't take possession of consigned vehicles.
