HI GUYS I INSTALLED A MAGNETIC DRAIN PLUG IN MY OIL PAN AND EVERY TIME I CHANGE MY OIL THERE IS A LITTLE METAL ON THE TIP OF IT IS THIS NORMAL? IT ISNT ALOT LOOKS LIKE CARBON BUT IT IS ISNT IF YOU RUB IT BETWEEN YOUR FINGERS IT FEELS LIKE MUD

If it looks like kind of a grey sludge, not really gritty, thats pretty normal.

thats the stuff i am talking about what is that stuff rod bearing material or cam bearing

Rod and/or bearing material isn't ferrous (magnetic)

It may just be sludge. Will a magnet pick it back up off your finger? Or make it stand up? If not, it probably is just bearing material, and not a sign of anything drastic. When you start seeing ferrous residue on the magnetic drain plug, that when it's time to worry.
