1. Where to buy Methanol in the northern Virginia Area?
2. Storage concerns... how long does it last, plastic vs. metal containers?

Look here.. if this doesnt lead you.. dont know unless you have some local guys in your area running methanol.

Container.. plastic and keep the cap tight, and tank off the ground. The pails are coated for storing methanol, if you buy your methanol in a coated metal drum.. then its no problem.
