any problems you think i should keep an eye on as i break it in?
 
there is only one thing i see. have you converted to a 87 ecm? if not i would do this right away and get a powerlogger. other then that with your heads and current setup your going to be running out of turbo and injectors in no time. i would recomend you upgrade your turbo to a TA- something i could help you more on this choice if you want and i would also upgrade injectors to the new high z 60's. i also am going to start doing the mod for the turbos so if you do decide to go with a Ta- series i can mod it once i get back from the desert. but before all that i would get a good tune on your current setup before you decide to upgrade the turbo and injectors. o and onther thing i might want to keep a eye out for a 2 1/2 or 3" DP if your still running the stock one.
 
thanks boost. im getting an 87 ecm once i get home. hopefully a powerlogger. ill probably have to wait on that for a month. definetly and ecm though. yeah been looking for a down pipe for 6 months. i found a good exhaust shop they might be able to help me out. this site is bad ass ive learned a lot from here. yeah i would have got bigger injectors but the guy at postons talked me out of it. quote he said that any bigger injectors would leak and wouldnt make a difference. anyways thanks for all the help boost.

The guy you mentioned at a vendor is clueless. Injectors do make a difference when you start porting and upgrade the turbo. I would go with at a minimum 42 pounders. Look at my signature. The downpipe you are looking for does not exist. I had to have one custom made- 2 1/2 integrated which eliminates the turbo elbow(2 inch diameter). Very pricey though- $850. Brad
 
as far as alky give me to the end of this year and i will give you some data. im going to be putting a IAT sensor in the intake and monitor the inlet and intake temps with and without alky. im going to see how much boost i can run on pump gas and record the intake temp and the inlet temp. then im going to start spraying alky and turning up the boost to around 25+ and get data from that as well to see how much im spraying and how it is effecting inlet temps and if there is a point where more alky isnt helping and what not. its kinda hard to explain but i will get you some data.
 
b231- what intake are you planning on using?

and let me know when you get package. i cant believe how cheap it is to ship to over there.
 
not sure on the intake. i was thinking of trying something but im not sure yet. im going to have my V1 up forsale but no one wants it. kinda crazy. i might play around with both. also as far as the package will do.
