Methenol Shelf Life?

I have had five gallons of Methenol in the shop for about five years now, and use it in my Buick on rare occasions. Does this stuff go bad?

Meth attracts water- if it was stored on the ground, there's probably a good quantity of water in the jug.

I'd use that meth for interesting experiments , and get yourself some fresh stuff for your Buick.

If it is clear in color, more than likely its good.
When it picks up moisture it looks yellow..
