anyone run one of these? if so how do you like?
Anyone know the part number for summit or jegs to buy one of these?

I have had one for 7 years , never had any over heating problems, or any problem with it, so far,

what is the part number and give details if you had to do any mods to make it work...thanks

part# i have no ideal, i just told a local dealer what i wanted and he got it for me like 350.00 i believe, installing no problem it come with O rings and gaskets i wired it into a relay that is hot when the ignition is on, its so easy a caveman can do it, if you get one it has a air bleeder you can bleed the air out before you start the engine, mine has a manual overide so i can cool the engine down after a run without the ignition being on, it come with instructions if you need them, good luck oc,

Meziere water pump

How do you adapt the "S" shaped heater hose from the top of the stock water pump to heater pipe?
I don't see a port on the Meziere for it.

Mike.

YOu have to ask for the heater hose option from mezeire. Also you have you change the lower crank pulley to a 6" diameter one roughly and use a smaller tensioner pulley and different belt and alternator pulley if you want a good charge rate. RJC sells the lower pulley's now. MIne is custom made to my specs though.

whats the most common pump r everyone using 35 or 45,any belt problems when running the hd-45 pump with rjc pullys and champion a/c delete bracket.no heater.

Point of it is being able to cool the car down in 5 minutes instead of 1 hour at the track between runs . The engine runs cooler in traffic and it frees up about 10 hp i estimate. I would go with the HD motor. I have this on a stock set up , so im not sure if you use a different setup, but i think it would woork if you get the right size belt.

Good to see RJC stepping up to make this an easier mod.

The hardest thing to prove is how much HP it frees up. The load the pulley adds to the assembly is far more taxing then the weight of the water pulley itself. Good to see track cars like Norbs are noticing a difference, I heard horror stories about these years ago.

Norbs, how many hours do you think you have on your pump??
They seem to rate the life and/or leak free running on pump hours.

Do you have to manually turn on the pump or do you have it wired to automatically come on when the car starts? Any downside that you have experienced?

Ive had it 5 years now, with no problems, but its not a daily driver either. Its rated at 2500 hours, which on a daily driver would be about 100,000 miles, if you drove an average speed of 40 mph. I built a module that automatically turns it on when the alternator light goes out, and i have a manual override switch also. Only drawback is the few mods for installation and your wallet will be lighter than before. I am very happy with the product in my opinion.

Thank you for the feedback. Sounds like it is more for the weekend racer and I like to drive mine more frequently than that. I have a 25 mile commute to work and when the weather is nice I roll in the GN. Just cannot get enough of that turbo.
