Gary one nagging question is why are there so many low mileage Z06's for sale ? Doesn't that make you wonder. It seems like people that have bought them soon get buyers remorse & unload them.
1) Only a very small % of the Z06's purchased are purchased as an intended daily driver, most are bought as weekend / occasional toys, and consequently, acquire fewer miles over ownership time
duration.
2) Some are traded in every year or every couple of years on newer Z06's.
3) Some are being sold / traded in on the ZR1.
4) Some C6 Z06 owners were C5 Z06 owners and miss the "hot rod feel and noise" even though they know that the C6 Z06 is a superior vehicle.
5) Financial obligations have changed, getting married, baby on way, lost job, going back to school.
6) I think a very small % are unhappy overall with the C6 Z06, but no car is problem free.
I think that the advantages of this car's "bang for buck" appeal far outweight the disadvantages, but a very small % do have problems / issues.
Tires do not last forever, and they are not free.
Considering that you do not track the car, but play spiritedly with it at the stop-lights and in the canyons, on & off ramps, plan on about 10K miles on the rears, maybe less.

Tires are the same story on the Porsche, Just bought a set of michelin pilots $ 1,500.00, The lightning goes through tires quick also & as expensive.i guess I will be keeping the L for some time to come.I have to have a truck & there's nothing out there that can equal it.Ford had a winner with that one. I heard that GM is thinking about bringing out the elcamino again. That may be something that would interest me.

About $2K for C6 Z06 on all 4 paws, mounted, balanced, out the door less alignment, Goodyear, I believe.
