I drove the car last night, and if I turn really hard it rubs just a little bit in the lower front corner. Very easy to get enough clearance. As far as traction the extra width must really help. These things hook like I'm at the track. It's like driving a totally different car.

Yes I have 3 sets. If these tires work as well at the track as they seem to on the street I won't need to keep swapping them anymore...

Well got'em on successfully. I just has to do some very delicate massaging here and there, but, I am extremely pleased as to how everything turned out. No rubbing at all. And just in time to go racing tomorrow night! Hoping to pick up 1-3mph, and get my 60ft down.

This is a cool tool for sure. I just took off my M/T 255-50/r16 drag radials. I can't believe the difference between these and the 295-50/R16 I just installed per the calculator. It should defiantly pick up some mph being taller, amongst other obvious differences between the two. Thanks for sharing.
