First I want to say that I have zero experience with transmissions and with the help of Mike Kurtz at Century Transmissions in Tx, I was able to change the non-lock up valve to a lock up valve, changed out the input shaft and installed a stage right trans brake. Mike provided me with all of the parts (through the mail) and spoke to me on the phone about 20 different times to answer questions that I had. Mike is one the 200-4R innovators formerly known as PMAC and says that he now has 4 different stages of the 200-4R with the stage 4 holding up to more than 1200 H.P. With as many times as he has talked to me on the phone, you would think that he would get tired of me calling, but he always says just call back if you have any other questions. The bottom line is that the trans works perfect. The trans brake works great and I now have a lock up feature to make the car more streetable on the highway. This is a very helpful thread. I'm going to call Mike and thanks for the feedback, cause I am upgrading to a 9" 3400 lockup and need advice as well.
