The other day i fixed the main seal on my H/A ttype but when i drained the oil i found the yoohoo milk shake the kind you cant drink. I cleaned up the bottom of the motor and sealed it back up. I put fresh oil in it ive ran it about 3 hours at idle drove it around a few miles and no mixture in the oil. no overheating no smoke, It idles fine this car sat for 3 years i just got it started a month ago also i found a little moisture at the bottom of the oil fill cap. no bubbles at the radiator. Head gasket or? im going to do a compresion test when i get a chance.
lmk what you think about this.

If your compression/leak down test shows no issues I would take a look at your intake gasket.

Head Gasket.

My car backfired real bad at 20 lbs boost due to a bad MAF. Replaced the MAF and the car ran fine until it started running hot right away. 240 degrees. Parked the car and the oil is a milkshake. The motor is coming out and at a minimum all the bearings are being replaced. Any other problems will be addressed at the same time. I am going MAFless as soon as the car is back together next month. Brad

if it isn't losing water, then i'd chalk it up as condensation in the crankcase. this is common in cars that get started and don't get brought up to operating temperature for any period of time.

I filled up the radiator and marked the cooling tank ill keep an eye on the level ill run it for a few hours and see how that goes thank you for the info guys

Hey brad i was wondering about my bearings on my H/a if they were bad i would hear them right? or should i be worried about the condtion of the bearings
due to the milk shake.

Don't use anti-freeze in the coolant untill you figure out what's going on. Use distilled water and and additive like "water wetter", anti-freeze is bad for the bearings.

I am not a mechanic. I rely on my fellow Buick friends, my mechanic and engine builder. All three have advised me to replace the bearing while replacing the head gasket. This is due to the point that the anti-freeze destroys the bearings and you can't tell this until the head gasket has been replaced. Bad bearings due to anti-freeze is bad oil pressure. The cost of fun with a GN. Brad
