When my car sits for awhile (a few days) I have a slight miss when I start it that usually lasts for 10-15 seconds. After that, I can drive it all day and not have a problem when starting it. The motor has 500 miles on it and i'm using R43TS spark plugs. I have been leaning towards a defective sparkplug? Am I using to cold of plugs? Any advice?

Thanks,

Rob

So what's the verdict?
Mine started doing this now....you guys jinxed me.:frown:

When I start it up in the AM these last couple days, it seems like for the first 5-10 seconds, one or two cylinders aren't firing. After it runs beyond that, it smooths out and runs fine. It onlydoes this when I first start it in the AM.

This morning the engine shook so bad while it chugged itself to a smoth idle, my downpipe was bmping the floor.

Plugs and wires are fine and the coil pack ohms out OK. fuel pressure it 39 line on, 43 line off.

Injectors perhaps?... Run some Acetone in the tank 3oz per 10 gals and see if it cleans up the pintels?
