I'm having same problem Maybe we can all get together somewhere in Chitown area and compare notes, swap out "good parts" etc??

Sure TurboBob, or are you going to Bowling Green? We could meet there. Let me know and I'll tell you where I'm staying and my cell #. If you have a scan tool, check the TPS readings. Or else try to borrow one from a shop or someone around Chicago with a GN. Good luck, let us know what you find.

wrong!

Some of our supporting vendors are having great deals on ign modules and coils right now...but 20 other possibilities have been mentioned in this thread and I'm worried it won't be the solution.

ASAP I'll be doing 009 injectors, new MAF, alky kit, and a new TT chip to match it all, and maybe I'll get lucky and it'll not happen after that.

You would serve yourself better to fix what you have before complicating a future troubleshooting process by changing and modifying something else. I've read Hundreds of posts here over the years where people had problems but still continued to make modifications....Bad idea, the problems grow. Fix it first, then make modifications, one at a time. :)

A word to the wise: Known good parts simplify the troubleshooting process.

sometimes just old gas and plugs, but colder weather, could have needed nore fuel, start with what you have first, before changing anything.

GNRick,

I will not be able to make it to bowling green this year!

Are you going to the midwest meet in July?

Yes, I plan on attending. Might even be taking Postal with me. Will you have your GN powered Porsch there? Send me pics if you have them. Thanks Bob.

It's been fixed for a while, was the coilpack like I thought. Forgot to post in this thread and let everyone know that it was solved.
