Missouri Members Need Help

Need input from fellow Missouri TurboBuick.com members.Need info regarding mechanics/shops in Missouri that are knowlegable about Grand National issues and repair. A friend has a 84 GN with issues and in need of repair. Local mechanics have been of little use. Thanks

What part of Missouri is he in?

I am in Joplin area.

He's in Jefferson City and willing to transport car to other area of MO.

What does he need done?

Engine cranks but will not fire. He has replaced numerous parts but still will not start.

Please list the parts that he has put on.

Motor only needs three things to run: fuel, air, spark. its bound to be missing one of those if it doesn't run.

Does the fuel pump run at key-on?

Do you get spark during cranking?

I'd recommend a shop in the STL area, but this should be easy to figure out.

Have a scan tool? (No, not a "code reader" AKA paper clip...)
