Will a Chip made for stock ECM High Imp. Inj. Work in a modded ECM for low imp. inj.? Still using the High imp. injectors. Any drawbacks?

Thanks, Mike

When running high impedance injectors in an ECM modded with peak-n-hold drivers, and you use a chip calibrated for stock ECM, many times it will tend to be a tad leaner around idle, and you might see high idle BLM's or even a small tip-in stumble. Most of the time you can play around with fuel pressure and get it to run ok.
With some injectors, it doesn't matter and it will run ok regardless. I would try it and see how it goes, it may run fine.

Thanks, Eric

I will make a log before & after, Also comment on idle quality. Just trying to get things in place for My E85 swap.

Thanks, Mike

Tested Stock ECM compared to Quad Air modded ECM (5Pin drivers w/resistor) 60# inj. Stock MAF

I would not be able to feel the difference ran virtually identical Crisp throttle.
Only diff. was exactly like you said Idle BLM 4pts. higher, Off Idle BLM same, IAC little lower with modded ECM
