Ok, I got a dumb question:o What is a stage 1 or stage 2 Car? What is the difference? Is their a stage 3 or 4? If so what is the difference in them?

Here is a copy of the reciept of what has been done to the motor in 2003. This car also has the Kenne Bell Billet Aluminum Adjustable fuel preassure regulator KB 89060. The Kenne Bell Front End strut Brace Kit, KB 89065. The Kenne Bell Oil Pressure Booster Plate, KB 18213-14. and the Kenne Bell Diagonal Body Brace KB 82070.

Please understand that this is a GRANDNATIONAL, NOT A GNX I have never stated that it is a GNX I also stated that I though that the story I was told was BS. In any case, I think he is correct on the name plate, But I would not have posted it if I was trying to "take" someone. This car is in A1 shape and looks great to boot. It is what you see, So please don't think I am trying to pull some wool over someones eyes. If you see anything else Please post it, also I would like some input on the price?? way over priced? or what. Thanks again to all.. Renee

another question, the the GNX on the name plate correct? or a copy? do they make such a thing?

I'm not sure how/if those plates were reproduced back in the day. But I'd have to agree that the #37 story sounds like BS. Sounds like a previous owner was a rich guy that wanted a GNX clone and opened up a catalog and made it happen. Regardless, it's got some very nice parts and is a great looking car.

Thanks so very much! I agree with you on the BS story and the fact that he must of had money to blow!!

Sorry if you thought i was accusing of some kind of mis-representation of the car, not what i was trying to do. All i wanted to do was point out the dash emblem. Actually, going by the pics of the car it looks really nice. Sorry for the confusion and i wish you luck on the sale.

$27,500? Smoke another one

I'm not good at pricing heavily modified cars like this one so I haven't thrown out a figure. I don't get the feeling that smoke is trying to gouge anyone on this, seems like she just wants a fair price. Help her out, what do you feel it's worth?

Thanks I appreciate your honesty, So I take it that 27,500 is to much!! what do you suggest?

This is how I came up with the price, I looked at the cars forsale on this site and here is what I found, http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/cars-sale/254458-stage-2-very-very-bad-day-sale-again.html. This guy "flipmo" has a grandnational that has been WRECKED mind you I said WRECKED, and he states that the whole car needs to be repainted, and he SOLD his for 22,000. he is not asking that he SOLD IT for that:confused: He said that it has 2800 to 3200 dollars worth of damage,,,, so now we are up to 25,000 So how is 27,000 to much for a car that has NEVER been wrecked and does not need paint, What is so different that makes his car worth that and mine not?? and if you think 27000 is to much then you must have a price in mind,,,what is it?? Thanks,

You can't compare your car to a stage 2 car. He's got more money in that engine than most cars sell for. My initial thought was that you have a $20k car.

LOL, as previously stated that was a stage 2 car, there is probably more than 22K in the engine alone!

You should look at more than just one example before pricing your car and you need to know what you're looking at. A car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. We would need more info on your's like how many miles are on it to start.

That is the kind of info I have been looking for!!! and I previously ask what the difference was on a stage 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 car, NO reply, I told you all that I have no idea what I am talking about, I appreciate the info, Thanks so much,,,also the I think the car has about 85,000 miles on it, but cannot confirm this, the last carfax shows 71000 and with the New guages it shows 14000 now so I am assuming that it has 85000 on it,

Smoke, before you sell your car please do some serious research so you understand what you have or do not have, and are able to ask a fare price. I would not like to see you get ripped off. Most of the folks here will get you situated right, but there are some around here who would take advantage of your lack of knowledge. I don't want to see that happen. You are selling a unique car with specific characteristics which change the value of the car from kelly blue book, etc. etc. You need some professional help with this situation, or to keep the car for a while and learn what you have. I hope that helps you out, and good luck with the sale. I like the ride a lot. It's bad arse!
