While driving down the highway yesterday i see this thing doing 40 in the right lane. A 1971 Dodge Monaco.
The back windows look to be about 5 feet long.
It looked all original too.
What a beast!

The original SUV. Every body had a wagon when I was a kid. I used to love riding in the wayback in the rear facing seat.

Cool pix.

My dad had a number of station wagons.

My cousin ordered a 63 Pontiac Catalina 9 passenger wagon with, full pwr, air, 421, tri pwr, 4 sp, posi.

hello; I've always liked S wagons and especially the olds vista cruiser at about the same yr. as that Monaco. I do remember a friends family had a huge olds wagon but I don't think it was a vista cruiser. It had a power rear door and was a load of a car.
Toyota made a wagon but stopped and Mazda had one I liked but it's discontinued. I guess the small SUV's took that market over. I do have good memories of a '65 Valiant wagon I had for a while. It was a ****box but it filled the bill and was $100.
