Can you guys help me out.
I have a power moon roof in my LIMITED.
Is this what they called an ASTRO ROOF?

What is the going rate for a used working one worth?

Astro roof's were installed only at the factory, and you should have a code in the trunk codes or on the window sticker, and they were, I believe, silver in color when seen from the outside. A moon roof could be either dealer installed or aftermarket installed.

Yeah, check for the code on the trunk to be sure you have the factory astro-roof. There was also a dealer installed ASC roof available.

$100 is cheeep for a real one.

Yup it is a real one & I got it. Mirrored Glass, tracks, motor, switch, gaskets.
I am keeping it as a spare.

My Limited has the code CF5 so I have the Factory roof, not the dealer installed units.

Man these things are HUGE when you see them out of the car. The complete track system must go to the inner sail panels at the rear window.

I tested it & it works great. Mirrored glass is nice shape too. Now I have a spare. .

If the metal pan that everything sits in is in mint, with the black paint showing and absolutely no rust than you should be able to get $250-$400 for it with everything like the shade and plastic trim molding included. If that pan is rusty than you would be hard pressed to see $100. The bad part is you have to go looking for buyers. Put in the for sale section and you will be sitting on it forever. You might be able to get more for a good unit. You just have to convince some guys that it is worth it not to have water pouring inside the car.

No rust on the pan! The guy had it stored in behind his tool box for 9 years. He stripped it out of a regal that he was using for a stock car. The rubber drain hoses still intact. Same for gasket. the shade looks to have gone from gray to green unless they offered green interiors on regals.
