more boost in first gear than 2nd and 3rd

I know this is typical of a fast spooling turbo flying through 1st gear. Is there any suggestion on how to contain it though? For instance...currently, boost is rock solid in each gear and it pegs the needle to the tuned boost setting quicker than you can watch the needle (which is awesome). But, I get 25psi in 1st, and 23 in the other gears. If I go for 25 in 2nd and third, I've got 28-29 in first. LOL
WG hole porting? It's so solid in each gear though and does not creep at all.

no. I did see 1.2 KR on the 25psi setting because it flashed 29 in first...but it could have been shift noise as well. Wasn't anything to worry about IMO.

You can attach an external spring on the wastegate arm.
Try different spring rates.

I do not like to shorten the wastegate arm too much if it does not allow the wastegate to open all the way & allow the wastegate to work as it should.

I agree with that. I tightened mine enough to give me up to about 30psi worth of control on my controller. I'm 75% at 25psi in other words. Hmm...I actually need it to flow more in first. Jack told me that I may want to take advantage of the external gate flange on the housing when I bought this snail. I dunno. It's not knocking. I was curious if I'm the only one with this issue.

Open up the wastegate puck hole, its a little too small, creating back up for a second before it fully opens giving you boost spike..

When I had a larger wastegate valve installed on my turbo I also needed to have a heavier wastegate acutator,or an external spring will work also.

It takes a little time to get it dialed in,if your housing is not opened/ported bigger yet, I would suggest that route also.
