Starting to regret this purchase. Had to practically kill myself to get this thing threaded into the block with the waterpump and heater lines in the way. Got the threads to catch the other night and I thought the hard part was over with.
Now that I have it bolted to the turbo this thing is kinked like a cheap garden hose. How is this thing supposed to flow oil? About 2 inches back from the drain flange on the turbo is the stem of the 02 sensor, KINK. Then when it has to make a 90 degree turn to fit between the water pump and the block, KINK.
Not gunna blow the oil seals on my new turbo because of a backed-up drain line. How the heck do you get this thing to clear? Are most of you running it all bent out of shape and hoping it's still flowing enough oil through it? The entire block was coated in oil gunk when I took off the stock drain line so I don't really want to put that one back on if it was leaking.
I really can't picture any better way to route this thing...
Any tips or pictures of how you have it routed would be nice, been wanting to start my car all week but STUPID issues keep holding me back.
Maybe it would clear the 02 sensor if the damn line threaded into the flange more than 4 threads. Any further than that it gets impossible to turn and feels like I'd crack that cheap aluminum flange in half.
Should I trust it like that or do I need to go to Summit and order a bunch of fittings and adapters to make my own line... and set my car back another week.
