More pop in the trunk lid

My trunk lid only releases when the trunk release button is pushed. How can I put more spring in the lid?

You have to adjust the three bolts that hold the trunk latch make the clearance tight and the trunk will open up. Also adjust the bump stops on the end of the decklid so they touch when the trunk is down.

Looking to find out how to get the lid to rise up more than just unlatching.

Adjust the tension rods. I believe there are 3 settings and factory is on the weakest one. Tension rods are against the back seat. I had to take mine out when switching to fiberglass trunk lid because it almost launched the thing across the yard.
