Well i ended up pulling the motor it looks like i wasted the rings in cylinder # 5 my question is can i take the motor to a local motor shop and have it bored 30 over and install larger pistions with out modifing any thing else on the motor

Go with a .020" bore instead. JE and other manufacturers have them shelf stock. Yea any machine shop "can" do the work, but it's best to find an experienced Turbo Buick builder to do the work. Where are you located so we can suggest a builder close to you.

Add a location to your info and follow what Ken said. Anyone can put an engine together but if you want it to live you can't just pick one out of the phone book.

eddies valve grinding in sayreville can punch the block for you no problem, hes done quite a few buicks around here. where in nj are u?

Ok thanks for the heads up I'm located in new jersey
Go to your user controls and add the location. You're in MAGNA country and there should be a few guys that they can recomend. I believe David Husik (sp) is near you as well and he's really good on these cars.:)

I am in brick basically the jersey shore you have a number for that guy and will he install the pistons too ?

David is a vendor on the board if I remember right and can do the whole engine as mild or wild as you want.
