I never torqued the harmonic bolt back to spec. I just tightened it as tight as I could, would this be an issue. I don't think the knock is a bearing or a piston slap. I'm thinking maybe a HG or maybe a crack in the flywheel that I can't see because I unbolted it from the TC. Again, I went on YouTube and search engine noises and spun bearings and what not and my knock isn't anywhere near as loud as what I heard from a piston hitting the heads or a rod. Mine is actually fairly quiet, but again I have no clue. What could be some possibilities. And I also ran my motor for no more than 1 min max without oil pressure a while back because I was told it's self priming(I guess not) but it ran fine after that. I also drained my oil and there is hardly if any shavings in it and it doesn't look milky to me. But my coolant is substantially lower than what it was.
Throw some other ideas at me and let me know what I should check. Tell me anything, because I'm not really sure if it is as serious as you guys are making it seem like.
When I drove it less than a mile home, on acceleration there was no knock but it was whining very loud. That's why I speculated a trans issue. That's out of the picture.
Anything!?!? Shoot me some ideas!!
No negativity, if I f**ked the motor up then so be it...it's me fault. But I want to try and get a better look at this.
